One of the most common questions we hear is, "How long will my kitchen be out of commission?" A typical Orlando kitchen remodel runs about 6 to 10 weeks once design is approved and materials arrive. Here is how it usually unfolds.

Before week 1: design and selections

Everything starts with design. We measure, plan the layout, and finalize cabinetry, countertops and finishes. We also order long-lead-time materials now — ordering early is the single biggest factor in avoiding mid-project delays.

Weeks 1–2: demolition and rough-in

We protect your home, remove the old kitchen, and complete any plumbing and electrical rough-in. If walls are moving, this is when it happens.

Weeks 3–5: cabinetry and surfaces

Custom cabinetry is installed, then countertops are templated and fabricated to fit precisely. Backsplash and tile work follow.

Weeks 6–8: finishes and final details

Lighting, hardware, appliances and final plumbing go in, followed by paint touch-ups and a detailed punch list. Then comes the best part — the reveal.

How we keep it on schedule

Because CI2V is design-and-build, one team manages permits, ordering and every trade, so there is a single point of accountability from start to finish. Ready to start? Tell us about your project.
